Sublimation-printed jerseys and sportswear
Sublimation is the printing method behind most modern team jerseys. The design is printed onto paper and then transferred into polyester fabric with heat, so the colour becomes part of the fabric instead of sitting on top. SPORTY Fit Wear uses sublimation printing (done with trusted printing partners) for custom jerseys, T-shirts and team kits.

No cracking or peeling

Where sublimation works best
Sublimation needs polyester fabric, which is what most sports jerseys are made from. It is ideal for colourful, detailed team designs. On very dark backgrounds, colours are planned in the design so names and numbers stay clear.

Frequently asked questions
Will the print fade after washing?
Sublimation print is part of the fabric, so it does not crack or peel. Wash inside out in cool water and avoid ironing directly on the print for the longest life.
Can you sublimate on cotton?
Sublimation works on polyester sports fabric, not on plain cotton. For cotton, other printing methods are used.
